Title: Living in Sin

Author: Isabel Lucero

Genre: Erotic Romance

Publication Date: January 1, 2014

Tour Host: Dreams Come True Promotions

**This story contains graphic sexual content and strong language. Intended for mature audiences only.**

Jace Jamison is every woman’s fantasy. He’s a mysterious businessman willing to sweep you off your feet, a tattooed bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks, and a sexy friend you want to take that next step with. Jace is everything and anything you want him to be. He’s a highly paid escort.

But nobody knows who Jace really is; the man whose dad abandoned him, whose brother was killed, and who had to take care of his mom at a young age. At the age of nineteen, he was living in Sin City, ready for a life away from stress and struggle.

Adrienne has been having a sexual drought since she broke up with her boyfriend. Even then she wasn’t getting fully satisfied. Being an event planner, she’s constantly working at numerous events. Several times she’s seen a man she can only refer to as the God-like creature at her work functions. He’s devastatingly handsome, tall, and has beautiful eyes, but he’s always with a different woman. The last thing she needs is another player in her life.

After a few chance encounters with Jace, her best friend convinces her to just get some good sex out of him and not worry about who she’s seen him with. But what happens when she finds out that he isn’t dating these women because he wants to, but because he’s paid to?

Keeping his job a secret from Adrienne seems easy at first, but when she begins meeting people he knows in his escort life, and they begin getting closer, he knows he has to tell her before someone else does.

When their worlds entwine, and confessions are made, will they be able to work through it? Will she be able to push aside his sins and focus on the good in him? Will Jace get what he’s never had? A woman who wants him despite what he’s done. Or will living in sin cost him what he never knew he wanted?

*An erotic, contemporary romance*

*Book one in a series, but can be read as a standalone.*

Holy hotness and burning panties! I really wasn’t impressed at first I thought it was going to be a Penthouse forum book. You know the ones I’m talking about…sex, tiny story, sex, small character development,  and boom sex. Now don’t get me wrong, there is a time and place for a book like that. I enjoy them. This is a review and so I’ll review it for you. The characters do get fleshed out. The storyline is there. Yes, there are some smoking hot bedroom(or office) scenes. I like some of the conflict that comes into the story. It creates some literary tension that makes you wonder when the whole thing will crash and burn. I give this a solid four star rating. The writing isn’t exactly F. Scott Fitzgerald but hey we can’t all be classic literature. The chemistry is palpable between the two characters and the conflict is relatable.

Isabel Lucero is a military wife who has been lucky enough to travel the world, and see some amazing sights. She has been married to her best friend for ten years, and together they have two of the most beautiful children in the world. She and her husband are Junior High Sweethearts, a couple who are truly meant to be together. One day, their love story might make it into a book.

Isabel is the middle name of the author, and Lucero is her maiden name. Together they create her pen name. She was born in a small town in New Mexico, and was more than happy to move far, far away.

She is a collector of high heels and tattoos, and is highly obsessed with both. She owns a crazy, little Miniature Pinscher who thinks he’s a Doberman. His name is Tyson.

Isabel has always been an avid reader, able to devour books in a day or two. With her now focusing on writing, the reading has slowed, but her love for reading is still there.

Something noteworthy is that Isabel loves to hear from her readers. Never hesitate to get in touch. She’s always willing and ready to talk about anything. If you enjoy this book, she encourages you to not only let her know, but let the world know. Goodreads, Amazon, book blogs, groups, etc. She understands that word of mouth is the best form of promotion.

Daisy is now stuck on a crowded tour bus with six men when her plans start blowing up in her face.  Things are not what they seem and nothing is making sense.  Landon is pushing her away and Grayson is pulling her close.  Daisy feels pulled to Grayson which doesn’t go unnoticed by him.  Amused and unable to control himself around her Gray decides to hit on her the first moment he sees her.   Gray’s new obsession is Daisy, who he deems his own little Widlflower even after he finds out she is to be his sister-in-law.  Whatever it is about her he can’t help himself.  He is desperate just to be near her.

***This book is not a normal romance.  Things happen fast and with no*** regret.  Rockers and all.  There are M/F scenes of course but there is M/F/M, hints of M/F/F, possibly a little M/M and plenty of vibrator discussion.

Daisy’s fall

How did this happen to me?  Just months ago I was in a loving, committed relationship with a man who I believed adored me.  Nothing was standing in our way of being married and having the white picket fence, babies and all the happiness I could stand.  Now I sit here on the edge of a bed in a shitty tour bus crying into my hands while a dozen little white sticks lie all over the floor laughing at me proving that I am a total fuck up.
The diamond on my hand does nothing but make me angry as it glistens, wet with my tears.  I’ve screwed everything up.  I let myself believe for a while that I could have a happy ever after.  I let myself think that I was worthy of something as precious as love.  Instead, I have ruined at least four lives in the ashes of my monumental lapse of rational thinking.

I always think things through.  Daisy Shayne never jumps without looking where she would land.  I had a plan.  I mean literally, I write the shit down and check it off as I complete it.  I was nothing if not meticulous in my calculating of my life this far.
My parents planned nothing.   I watched them constantly bailing water from the boat, borrowing from Peter to pay Paul and getting nowhere in life because of not having a plan.  Well I had a plan damn it!  Now as I look at my list all I want to do is jump from my boat and let myself drown.  It would be so much easier than to face what is coming when those bus doors open and my life comes to an end.  There is no hiding this.  There is no fixing the situation.  It’s going to destroy everyone involved, including myself in the process…
Wait!  I am getting too far ahead of myself.  You need for me to start from the beginning to get the full picture here.  You need to know everything and then you will understand.

Our Thoughts
What a book to start 2014! This book was so engaging. The twists and turns had my heart in my throat most of the book. I LOVE DELCAN! He is my first book boyfriend this year and I have a feeling he will still be on the list come December. This is a book 2 but can totally be read as a stand alone, I do although highly suggest Without Boundries . This was a five star read the whole way!

Flirting With Chaos Blog Tour

Can two mentally unstable best friends have sex and not drown in chaos?
Rain’s been washing blood off her hands for far too long. After five years, she accepts the fact that she”s still a little crazy but feels as if she’s finally gotten it all under control.
Parties, drugs, and sex flood Jude’s life, and music and scandal run through his veins. He’s the son of a rock god and grandson of a jazz legend. It’s no surprise that his own star is on the rise, and with so many groupies vying for his attention, his childhood best friend Rain keeps him anchored in reality.
She’s nothing like him–an art student with no idea of her own beauty, who would rather curl up with a sci-fi novel than party in the spotlight. Everything changes when she asks him for a unique favor: she wants him to take her virginity. He’s more than willing to oblige, but things get complicated when his pervy father gets involved. Meanwhile, intense feelings rise to the surface, ones neither Rain nor Jude are prepared to deal with.
If their relationship has any chance for survival, she must finally confront the demons of her past, and he must face the addictions of the present. When the smoke clears, will they find that sex between best friends was a good idea, or will they discover they had been Flirting With Chaos the entire time?

Just A Tease

“First of all, Mother, it is called a sperm bank, not a
sperm bar.” I cannot believe I am having this
conversation right now. “And where did you get this
information from?”
Max looked over at me, smirking.
“Why does it matter where I heard it from? What
will people think?” cried my mother.
“Fuck! Mom, no one is gonna care where or how I
get a baby.” I want to crawl into a hole and die. “Mom,
you wouldn’t by any chance be talking to Marie, would
you? Is that where all this came from? Did she tell you
I’m planning to go to a sperm bank? Or did she tell you
I should think about going to a sperm bank?”
“That’s not the point, Kirsten. The point is that it’s
time for you to settle down and think about having a
family. You need to be more like Marie,” my mom
“Like Marie? My sister, Marie? The one who wears
yoga pants and ponytails everywhere and has a kid
attached to her hip? No, thanks. Don’t get me wrong,
Mom. I love Marie, but I’d rather not schedule in sex

Falling by E.K. Blair Blog Tour and Giveaway

Sometimes it takes someone else to show us what we are truly capable of becoming.

Suffering from years of violent abuse, Ryan Campbell has learned how to keep people from getting too close. But when you shut yourself off, people get hurt along the way. Never caring much about others, Ryan creates a world in which he doesn’t have to feel.

When Ryan meets Candace Parker, all of his walls slowly begin to crumble. Not sure of the truth of who she is, he feels his mind is playing tricks on him. Unable to force out the thoughts that consume him, Ryan is haunted by visions that torment him every time he looks at her. He finds himself swallowed by guilt and blame, but he’s unwilling to turn his back on the one person that could possibly save him.

You’ve heard Candace’s story in Fading, now hear Ryan’s.

Our Thoughts
This is the first time I’ve read the dual point of view. I think this style has to be well written to avoid being repetitive. Blair accomplished this to perfection. Ryan’s story is the same as Candace’s. Yet, the fresh look and fresh eyes of his point of view made this a whole new story. You cover all the same points with sharper edges. I don’t know why but in Fading the story is overwhelmed by a fog of despair and emotional pain. On the other hand Falling is clear, sharp, and full of emotion. Blair has a way to squeeze every drop of emotion out of a story without making the characters seem weak and overly emotional. This book is a five star book without question! Read it!

Author Bio and Links:

USA Today bestselling author and International Amazon bestselling author, E.K. Blair takes her readers on an emotional roller coaster with her FADING series. A former first grade teacher with an imagination that runs wild. Daydreaming and zoning out is how she was often found in high school. Blair tends to drift towards everything dark and moody. Give her a character and she will take pleasure in breaking them down, digging into their core to find what lies underneath.

Aside from writing, E.K. Blair finds pleasure in music, drinking her Starbucks in peace, and spending time with her friends. She’s a thinker, an artist, a wife, a mom, and everything in between.

A Tale of Two Kingdoms by Victoria Danann

My Familiar Stranger Review
The Witch’s Dream Review
Moonlight Excerpt
Gathering Storm Review

Our Thoughts
A Tale Of Two Kingdoms was your typical Romeo and Juliet tale with a twist. We loved the tenacity of Duff and Song in their journey to be together. For the families to get on the same page and find a way to support them was wonderful to see. A few obstacles were hurddled and a few road blocks were removed.  Here you find the happily ever after that Black Swan fans have been waiting for. This sweet novella ranks a solid 4,5 in my books.

I write unapologetic romances with uniquely fresh perspectives on paranormal creatures, characters, and themes. Add a dash of scifi and a flourish of fantasy to enough humor to make you laugh out loud and enough steam to make you squirm in your chair. My heroines are independent femmes with flaws and minds of their own whether they are aliens, witches, demonologists, psychics, or past life therapists. My heroes are hot and hunky, but they also have brains, character, and good manners – usually – whether they be elves, demons, berserkers, werewolves, or vampires.
